Options After High School

The College and Career Center is a resource area to distribute college and career materials at Washington High School (CEEB Code 050972). The goal is to provide students with up-to-date and accurate information as they explore their future education and career goals. The Center is located on the second floor of the "F" building in F243. It is open every school day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Students can drop in anytime during Husky/flex period, lunch, and before/after school. Students and parents can call or email the College and Career specialist with questions or set up an appointment to talk.

  • Visits by Representatives from 4-Year Colleges/Universities, Community Colleges, Technical Schools, and the Military
  • Fall College Fair and Information Night
  • Financial Aid Information (FAFSA, CADAA and Cal Grants)
  • Scholarship Applications and Information
  • Mission Valley Regional Occupational Program (MVROP) Liaison
  • Senior Awards Night Coordinator
  • PSAT/NMSQT/SAT and AP Testing Information and Fee Waivers
  • Cal Grant GPA Submission for Senior Students (only if new at WHS in 12th grade)
  • Work Permit Issuance (see procedures here)
