Jeana Nightengale – Assistant Principal
Welcome to Mission San Jose High School. I’m excited to serve students, staff, parents and the community as Assistant Principal. I have served in the greater Fremont Unified School District family for the past 17 years. I began my career in Fremont Unified School District at American High School as a high school counselor for 9 years and 1 year as Assistant Principal. I am currently an Assistant Principal at Mission San Jose High School for the past 8 years and have also served as Assistant Principal for summer school for 2 summers in Fremont.
I went into education as I know and believe that education has the power to not only change lives, but generations to come. I earned my B.A. in Sociology and my M.A. in Counseling from Sonoma State University. Education is not only in the classroom but continuing to learn and grow throughout your life with your passions guiding you as a life-long learner. As a life-long learner I am currently learning International Latin Ballroom as I have been a dancer my whole life. I would like to encourage all of my students to follow their dreams and passions inside school as well as outside of school.
This year I am assigned to serve all 9-12th grade students, last names J-Q. Please stop by my office anytime as my door is always open. I’m eager to get to know students, parents, and staff here at Mission San Jose High School.
