Superintendent African American Parent/Family Committee (AAPAC)
Superintendent African American Parent/Family Committee (AAPAC) shall be responsible for advising the Board of Education on areas that will address the African-American achievement gap and the tools and resources needed to help with student achievement. The membership of the Committee consists of parents of African American students and staff.

AAPAC Meetings will be held quarterly on dates to be announced. Times normally from 6:00-7:30 pm.

The Governing Board will select up to ten (10) parent/guardian members (preferably two from each of the five attendance areas) to serve on its AAPAC. There will also be representatives from each of the bargaining units and two Board members. AAPAC members will serve a two-year term.
