PSAT/NMSQT® and SAT® Exams
2025-2026 School Year Exam Registration

- PSAT/NMSQT® for 11th grade students:
All 11th grade students will have the option of taking the PSAT/NMSQT® at no cost. The cost is covered by the FUSD Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Results of the PSAT/NMSQT® may be used to qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Program. No student registration is required. Parents/guardians may opt their student out of taking this test. - SAT® for 11th and 12th grade students:
11th and 12th grade students may choose to take the SAT® as part of the SAT School Day® program which allows for the SAT® to be administered at their school during a school day rather than on a Saturday outside of FUSD. The SAT® will take approximately four hours to complete. Student registration is required and the exam costs $100.
Students in 11th and 12th grade, who would like to take the SAT®, will need to register through this link. The registration window will be open Tuesday, August 12, 2025 through Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Payment will be collected separately by schools prior to the test administration. Students in 11th grade will automatically be ordered a PSAT/NMSQT® test unless their parent/guardian chooses to opt the student out.
If you have questions about any of the optional tests above for high school students, please contact the appropriate testing coordinator listed below.
