Diploma State Seals

The California Department of Education (CDE), in conjunction with the State Board of Education, annually confer special recognitions to graduating seniors who have distinguished themselves throughout their years as a high school student. These special recognitions are presented as golden insignias that are affixed to the student's diploma and notated on their official transcript.
